Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

• All website bookings require full payment to confirm booking
• Advance bookings via email or phone will require a deposit payment on invoice to secure booking
• Email or phone bookings within a week of arrival are payable on arrival and CC details are requested for security
• Prices are in NZD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• All cancellations to be made by email to stay@tewawhakataa.co.nz
• 100% refund if cancellation is made up to one week prior to your arrival date
• 50% refund if cancellation is made one week and 48 hours prior to your arrival date
• No refund if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to your arrival date
• No Shows will be invoiced for the full amount owing if a balance was only paid

3. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: 2pm | Check-out: 10am
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. House Rules

• No smoking/vaping inside or outside the premises.
• No pets.
• Guests must respect noise levels and property rules.

5. Liability & Damages

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
• The property is not liable for lost or stolen belongings.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

• Guest information is kept confidential and used only for booking purposes.

7. Force Majeure

• The property is not responsible for cancellations due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
