Cabins

Each cabin has one main room with a super king bed (can be twin on request), two lounge chairs and an ensuite (shower, basin and toilet). Our cabins are best suited for two adults per cabin. We do have a roll away bed for adults travelling with one young child. There is an extra charge for this. All cabins have exterior decks with mountain and/or coastal views. Cabins have a small bench for tea/coffee etc with a mini fridge and one cabin is wheelchair accessible with a kitchenette (stove top, bench oven &/or microwave).

All cabins have access to the common spaces – cooking facilities (microwaves and hotplates) and additional fridge space is in the communal dining room.

Off peak rate is $160 per night & peak season rate is $180 per night.

Te Wa Whakatā maintains a strict no smoking, no vaping and no pets policy in all indoor and outdoor areas.

Communal dining room

Our large shared dining room makes Te Wa Whakatā the perfect place for groups. Guests are invited to use the communal cooking facilities, including microwaves, hotplates, and additional fridge space, and enjoy the ambience of the log fire.

The dining room leads out to a large deck surrounded by native plants and the sound of the sea close by. This space is wheelchair accessible. The dining room is also a great place for meetings, workshops and presentations.
