Please check out the short video clip on the homepage to see that the two Studios are at the west end of the house opposite the Cabins. They are less private. Each studio has one main room with a super king/twin bed, lounge chairs, tea/coffee facilities and a private ensuite. A sunny deck is at the entrance to each Studio. Cooking and dining facilities are in the communal kitchen.

Peak Rate NZ160 and Off Peak Rate NZ140.

Te Wa Whakatā maintains a strict no smoking, no vaping and no pets policy in all indoor and outdoor areas.

Our studios have:

  • electric jug,
  • outdoor seats

Accessible King Cabin

Our accessible cabin is private and sunny. We ensure excellent access to all spaces on site. Parking is adjacent to the ramp. It has a private spacious ensuite and an accessible kitchen space for easy meals.

Including:

  • all bedding (linen, duvet, pillows),
  • silent heater, coffee table, lounge chairs,
  • shower seat,
  • private deck surrounded by native planting,
  • close proximity to the communal dining and kitchen.

King cabin

We have six private stand-alone cabins available all surrounded by native bush. Each cabin has one main room which is suitable for two people.

These cabins are superb. They are cleverly designed and appointed with everything you need. The native plantings provide privacy without obstructing the view. The shared kitchen-dining area allows for convivial interaction with others. And with sea, lagoon, mountains, bush and beach all on your doorstep, I can’t think of a more perfect NZ location.
